  • Pillar 1: Livelihood Improvement (LI)
  • This pillar focuses interventions improve income of the community through improved agricultural practices that improve quality and productivity of products, reduce loss and improve market access. These include coffee quality and productivity improvement activities, promotion of socially and environmental relevant certification standards, access to livestock health facilities and access to extension service facilities.
  • Pillar 2: Social Development (SD)
  • This pillar focuses increasing access to different social services of the target community. This includes access to clean water, education, electricity, market and health facilities. Buna Qela conducts needs assessments and prioritizes the needs of local communities before it embarks on implementation activities related to this program.
